HEAD MOVEMENT + BLINK EXPLORER
Your signal, in motion.
Center your head, then push the turtle with a gentle tilt.

SIMULATED TABLET · 800 × 600
Turtle cursor
Push with your head. As the cursor moves, its resting head position moves with it. Center your head to drift back toward the middle.
Face forward and hold still, then set head center. Try the five circles. A lost signal or hidden tab freezes the cursor in place. This sandbox moves only its own cursor.

Move left to require a stronger pulse, or right to catch softer ones. The shape check stays the same. Yawns and spontaneous blinks can still match; no new collection is needed to try the slider.
What the eight examples established
DIRECTION
Head joystick
Face forward and hold still when setting center. This shows an approximate control direction, not physical angles. Turning your head is not mapped.
LABELED SAMPLE COLLECTION
Blink on cue
Ten prompts. Blink once when you see BLINK NOW, then relax until the next cue.
ABOUT 70 SECONDS · LONGER IF THE STREAM PAUSES
Ready when you are
Keep your head still and blink as you would to activate a control.
Samples and cues are saved locally as they arrive. A dropout pauses collection and retries the current prompt.
EEG · 50 + 60 Hz NOTCH FILTERS
EEG activity
50 and 60 Hz mains are filtered from this waveform and the blink estimate. Raw recordings and signal-quality checks retain the original samples. Blinks and muscle activity can still produce large excursions. The experimental preview matches waveform shape; it does not establish whether a blink was intentional.
COLLECTION SAVED
Blink examples
| Cue | Attempt | Window | Peak-to-peak | RMS | Samples |
|---|
Each example uses an approximately two-second window around the displayed cue. A saved cue does not prove a blink occurred. Compare amplitudes after reviewing the recorded signal.
